Well, Day I of racing in Croatia was very quiet, with very little wind but some thunder storms around. We towed to the race course before one aborted start and then we towed home.
Day 2 saw the race committee try twice to race without success. That leaves 2 scheduled days of racing and a reserve to get some racing in...fingers crossed!
Split is a really beautiful place…just not very windy at the moment!

- I am a compulsive sailor! I started sailing in my early teens, in the Flying Ant class. In my late teens, I moved into 18ft Skiffs and won the World Championships six years running. This is something I am still immensely proud of. In 1983 I was part of Australia's successful America’s Cup challenge, and was also helmsman for the Cup’s defence in 1987. I was also helmsman in further challenges in 1991 and 1995. These were all amazing learning experiences. Competing in the Olympics is what drives me now - it's the box I've not yet ticked off. When I'm not training and sailing the things I enjoy most in life are the simple ones - spending time with my wife and three daughters.
